HERITAGE HOUSE PHOTO SHOOT

Place : Casa Araujo Alvares, near BigFoot, Loutolim (www.casaaraujoalvares.com)

Date / Time : 4th October 2009, 3.30pm onwards

Photo opportunities : Heritage House, Antiques, + Ancestral Goa and around the Loutolim church square.

Casa Araujo Alvares has been a host to many film and advert shoot, the recent one being the advert for a bank.

Photo shoot suggestion : Nathan Abranches (the great great grand son of the house)

Meeting point: at Casa Araujo Alvares at 3.30pm, half an hour free guided tour of the house, 4pm to 5pm shoot in and around the house, after that the bugs can go to shoot at Ancestral Goa (www.ancestralgoa.com) or to the church square.

Entry FEE: Rs. 150/- with camera, but due to the kind courtesy of the owner Mahendra Alvares, FREE entry for Goan Shutterbugs

We will also be having a professional photographer during the photo shoot, who’ll be teaching photographic techniques and tricks and how to use / buy digital cameras, lens and filters

A heavy downpour, overcast skies and the sun hiding behind the clouds most of the time, could not keep the Goan Shutterbugs - Saish, Hemant, Reema, Milan, Saurabh, Radha, Barkha, Nilesh, Nathan, Basil, Kalpesh, Surendra and Lynn away from capturing the breathtaking landscapes, verdant green paddy fields and the over flowing river at Ilhas de Rachol on 21st Sept 09

Place : Starts at Sri Ravi Sankar College (near Nagesh Garden Dolphin Fountain), Borda, Margao

(the college is 372 mts from Holy Spirit Church along the St. Joaquim road that goes towards Multipurpose School / Chowgule College)

Date / Time : 6th September 2009, 4pm

If you reach late we will be found along the St. Joaquim Road

At 6 pm we meet at BM Hall.

Bugs wishing to display photos they have clicked during the heritage walk at the meet, kindly bring your camera transfer cord / card reader. Photos should be in JPG format only.
